Who runs this site

OntarioHomeRebates.ca is run by Graeme Knight. Graeme owns window and door companies in Ontario. He built this site to explain rebate rules in plain English, including easy-to-miss ones like the Home Renovation Savings Program's 2-upgrade rule.

Ownership disclosure

• Because Graeme owns window and door companies, he has a business interest in home renovation. We tell you this up front.
• Listings are neutral. Programs are included because they exist, not because anyone pays us, and they aren't ranked to favour any business. Graeme's companies aren't listed or promoted on this site.
• If we ever add paid or sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for the Government of Ontario, the Government of Canada, the IESO / Save on Energy, Enbridge Gas, Hydro One, any municipality or any program administrator. We can't approve applications or guarantee rebates.

How we research programs

• Every program page links to its official source and shows the date we last checked it.
• When official sources disagree, or a figure only appears on third-party sites, we don't publish the number. We tell you to check the official page instead.
• Programs change and close without much notice. Always check the official source before you spend money, sign a contract or book an assessment.
